Mount Taylor, more lovely rain and now it’s the box.

Monday 28th December 2009

So yes I went walking up a hill again, rather cathartic sort of exercise and damn hard with the humidity we had yesterday and not usual for Canberra. Mount Taylor affords some wonderful views over south Canberra to the Brindabella’s. Saw a Magpie family on the descent and took photos at top and on way down as did not stop on way up.

Mum can I have a snack please, please.

Here are some photos of the boys enjoying some duck chews, they do tricks if I want them to (if you read some earlier blog entries of mine you will see they will jump through a hoop)

Mmm, chewy.

God you ate that fast, I had to with you sitting there.

It was raining again last night, a real shame the pipe fell off that connects my roof to the water tank. So far in the ACT we have had 55 mm on Christmas day and 26 mm last night. Great rain for all the rural areas, yes I looked, it was raining in Cootamundra.
Smudge and Spider (well really just Smudge) explored the big box I keep in the lounge room, I put all of Smudge’s toys in and he had a ball with them all as usual.

Hmmm, which one do I want first?

This one will do.

Off I go to decorate the house.

This morning the boys had their normal time in the enclosed outside room, Smudge got spooked by something and his tail got huge. Not sure if the photo shows this.

My tail is down because something gave me a fright, its looking rather fluffy and cuddly though.

At this very moment Smudge is attempting to get inside one of my many boxes and bags full of teaching gear that are normally out of reach in the computer room.

Thanks, I plan this year on doing one a week.
That way I experience the scenery as a reward.
