A break can be good

WE are exploring the shopping bags, lots of fun!!!!

Hiya everyone,

I realised today how good a break can be, not just a break from work but a break from having to harness ones creativity.
You see last year I wrote 1 and 3/4 books for children and I have worried about not being in the right mood to write and be creative, by having a break I can see that I will be refreshed whne I am ready.
So today has been a do what I want to do day, some Northern Exposure episodes, cat cuddling (including Smudge!!!), a sleep in till 8.30. Some gardening and gossiping on the phone with the boys Aunty Rosie (my neighbour).

Yes, it's so important to have a "do what you wanna do" day now and then. That'll get your creative juices going. I thinking sitting in a shopping bag is a wonderful thing to do...

Enjoy your day!!!

Those shopping bags look like a lot of fun to play in.

I think we all need a break from whatever pressures we have--from outside of ourselves (i.e. bosses, work commitments, etc.) and inside ourselves (usually our own expectations of what we "should" be doing and how quickly, etc.).

So enjoy your break! :-)

I agree that a break is very important - I know they are always very helpful to me, even if it is only a brief one. But a long one is usually so much better and so refreshing!

Sounds like a great way to spend the day=it's always nice to do what you want to do sometimes, instead of what you should do!...kisses and hugs x3 sweet friends...Calle, Halle, Sukki
