Friday frustration

Mmm I have you, let's play!!!!

Well I gotta say I am a girl used to my own company and a certain guy is not interesting me any more. Tommorrow I am catching up with him for coffee and telling him "I just wanna be friends".

Maybe he is too smothering, maybe I am too set in my ways as my brother so aptly put and compared to my Grandparents. Have I lived by myself for too long to ever want to live with anyone else again?

When It gets to a point where little things are annoying you about a person after only a few months one knows it's time to end it with politeness. I cross my heart I will do it with as much kindness as possible.

Wish me luck!!!

I wish you luck! At least you're smart enough to know when to call it quits. :-)

I've been divorced for over 9 years now, living alone and except for one foolish rebound about a year after the split, I haven't bothered with anyone at all. I can't even work up any interest. But then, I'm getting close to 50 and well beyond wanting to turn my life upside down or compromise or put up with the the things I did in my 20s and 30s.

Not everyone is comfortable on their own, but some of us definitely are!

I wish you luck too, although I'm sorry things didn't work out; you are smart to know when things should be over and deal with it accordingly...I was married 13 years and I've been divorced since 2001 too (like Kim) and I had a live in boyfriend for 9 years but I asked him to move out in November=sometimes being on your own is it's own reward, not nearly as bad as I thought it would be (first time I'm single in my adult life and I'm 44!)...For me, having the kitties is a wonderful way to have "company" and not be lonely...Hope it goes relatively easy for you sweetie and good luck!...Kisses to Smudge and Spider...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki

Wishing you luck but it sounds like it's for the best.

We wish you the best of luck. Ending a relationship is never easy, but why prolong it if you're not happy? YOU need to be happy and if that person isn't the one doing it for you, time to move on. There's PLENTY of fish in the sea and I truly believe there's someone out here for everyone. I was lucky enough to have found mine and you too, will find yours! PROMISE!

I wish you lots of luck - I do not envy you having to have that conversation! But sometimes it is just not the right fit - it is best to be honest about it as soon as you can!

I hope it went ok. These things are never easy, but it is far harder to stay in a relationship that is not satisfying. I think you are very smart.
