Another update on a rainy day!!!

Hello there,

Last week I had my first two teaching days here near my new place. A whole different kettle of fish so to say and two really nice schools and great kids.

My garden is flourishing with seeds sprouting in my new garden beds. I am looking to get some chickens soon, fix the verandah and get a puppy from a rescue place I have seen briefly.

Spider and Smudge have settled in well as Smudge shows in the photo just before he got all smoochy!!

Hi Hi Hi Kas,
Glad to hear from you!! Glad things are going well!!
Stevia does not like sandy soil or salt. It has done well in our acid soil. We are 65 miles from the Gulf.
No salt in our air. And we surely love that plant. We have made cuttings from our one plant and made 3 plants. Now we have four!!Love it in tea a specially.
You will have to put something in your soil to bring up the ph. You can't do anything about the salty air tho!!
So happy to talk with you!!
xx, Fern
