Wednesday and plodding along......

Wednesday 3rd March

Do you ever feel like slowly you are plodding towards a dream, a purpose, chipping away towards it bit by bit??? That's how my life feels at the moment, I guess it is my way of not stagnating and making sure I am moving forward. It's getting little jobs done each day that move me ever closer, things like fixing the fence, decluttering a little each day, planting grass seeds to make my bare patched lawn look presentable.

Yesterday I managed to convince a school to let me leave a box of educational resources for other teachers to peruse and take with just a gold donation. It also gave me an opportunity to put my wildlife sanctuary plan out there for all to see in a way, in the note I left.

The boys as always keep me grounded and aware of the beauty of mindfulness and I listen to them purr, watch them rough and tumble play and cuddle them in my arms.

Have a great Wednesday all, I hope one day some of you will grace my Sanctuary with your presence in the not too distant future. The world needs more people who write so eloquently and care so carefully for their animals.

The TV is a great spot to sit, especially when my tail gets in the way and it's on.

Mum wants to get into this box so at the moment it's the best to sit on!!!
Anyone would think that we liked to sit here and not on the carpet.

It's always me, I just have this thing for getting up where I probably am best not to be really.

Moving, at any pace, toward your dream is a fabulous thing.

BTW, when you have your sanctuary, feel free to take escape-artist Nicki off my hands. Consider him a "house" warming gift. LOL.

I think it's great that you have a goal and are working toward it; just don't put time tables on yourself because things seem to work out in their own time and rushing things always seems to complicate them...Life is what happens while you're making other plans, right?!...Smudge and Spider are so beautiful; they look like twins!

I really admire that you are chipping away at the things that are getting you closer to your dream - you are very lucky! I would love to be at that stage in life - I just can't seem to even get something to chip away at!

And we would be so honored to visit your sanctuary when it is up and running - it is really one of the things we would love to do too - something to help out lots of cats who need it.

And it is is great that you have your kitties there to keep you grounded - kitties are great at that, arent't they?

I really admire the fact that you have a dream and you're doing everything you can to accomplish it. Anything worthwhile takes time, of course.

I noticed the same thing as you, that most kitty bloggers are very good writers, and more quite socially conscious, and kind, of course. All-in-all not a bad group to hang with, even if online.

Cute pictures of your boys, as always. They certainly are a handful (or armful)!

You will certainly achieve your dreams and it's wonderful your moving towards it a little more each day!

The purrs and play of kitties make everything purrfect!

I am all for that patient persistance thing, but gee it's hard to be patient when you want it all now!! It frustrates the beejesses out of me. But then I breathe, become mindful and realise it will all happen when it is meant to happen ...

What your doing is great.

Smudge reminds me of my Marley. He is very curious. I like seeing his adventures. He looks like he is full of it.
