The secret to getting my boys to yawn is rubbing their noses when they are just waking from a nap, as you can see it worked for these photos. It's a bit like how babies can be soothed by rubbing across their foreheads and yes they often yawn when this is done too!!!
Yesterday I came across these juvenile Black swans on the lake. They were eating the moss from the wall and chatting with me as I whistled to them in swan. I can say three words or phrases in swan, it's cool when they hear me vocalise and they turn their heads in recognition.
Hello there!!
I quite like moss, very tasty.
Daphne and I are off on on our south coast jaunt, staying in a youth hostel near the sea and then checking out the property I featured yesterday. I will make sure I share photos with you all. Thursdays post may be a lot later than usual, enjoy the swannies for now.

Those are great yawn photos! And I love the black swans, I don't think I've seen any in real life, just the white ones.

I will have to try the yawn thing - I have to admit those pictures made me yawn!
And the young black swans are very cool!
Wow, those yawns look pretty darn vicious! You can practically see all their tail through their mouths! LOL!
Lovely swans, too. I used to live near some wild ones many years ago, and would visit them at least once a week at their river home.
